Last night, there shouldn’t have been one black performer at the Super Bowl. This morning, I didn’t even see a hashtag for Coach Brian Flores(the black coach the NFL railroaded). Is he forgotten already? Black entertainers are notorious for addressing absolutely nothing that affects the lives of black people. But, when they feel some award show has shafted them, they call the organization out as racist and selfishly attempt to rile up their fans on social media. Coach Flores needed black performers to follow Rihanna’s lead. In 2018 the pop singer turned down a Super Bowl spot, showing support for Colin Kaepernick.

It shouldn’t be that difficult to turn your backs on financial opportunities if you’re ballin’ the way you publically profess.

White organizations have often made fools out of Black people, but this is probably the second time White rapper Eminem has. Why does he not only feel comfortable meeting with the controversial Minister Louis Farrakhan but also posts a picture of their dinner on his Twitter feed? Black people are terrified to mention the minister’s name when they know they just had dinner with the man the night before. Why isn’t Farrakhan the litmus test for Eminem?  

Black journalists are asking, “Why is Eminem taking the knee?” Ask why does Jay-Z continue to do biz with the NFL. Hold your people accountable before you question White people.
