FS1’S JOY TAYLOR ACCUSED OF SLEEPING WITH EX-NFL PLAYER EMMANUEL ACHO TO ADVANCE CAREER
I’ve often wondered why attractive women sleep with unattractive or older men, only ending up getting played, dumped, or humiliated with nothing to show for it at the end. I see nothing wrong with women “sleeping their way to the top.” I wouldn’t do it, but I don’t frown upon those who do.
Many men have told me they’d use their bodies as a tool to advance their careers if the opportunity presented itself. But it’s always easy for my male counterparts to say that. They’re all “Teflon Don”—nothing sticks to them.
I’m a woman who says, “Go, Joy, Go!” I support women doing whatever they want with their bodies, but my gender must understand that there are consequences to their actions. Everyone holds women accountable. We are not men; we’re women. Everyone is waiting for a slip in character from women.
Jay-Z told the NYT he cheated on Beyonce for 15 out of their 17-year relationship, and people continue referring to the rapper as a “great guy.” No matter how small the detail of our blunder is, it’s held against us. If you can handle that, go for it.
IS LAWTON LANE NEWS MISSING SOMETHING? DID POOR JOY DO SOMETHING WRONG?
